  • Links make the wiki go round
  • You can pluralize [[link]]s
  • You can [[piped links|pipe links]]
  • You can [[simplify (disambiguated)|]] links
  • Don’t pipe links to unrelated words or phrases
  • Don’t pipe links to avoid redirects
  • Don’t change the colour of links, it's confusing for the reader
  • Put formatting '''[[outside]]''' the link (however, this should be avoided)
  • Link the first use of a word or phrase and important repetitions, not every use

Piped links

A piped link is a way to link to an article but with different text from the article name. For example: 

The [[Robert E. Sheriff|Dr. Sheriff]] and [[:Category:Biographies|biographies]] are relevant.

Renders:

Dr. Sheriff and biographies are relevant.
