Eric Larose, Ludovic Margerin, Arnaud Derode, Bart van Tiggelen, Michel Campillo, Nikolai Shapiro, Anne Paul, Laurent Stehly, and Mickael Tanter received 2006 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper Correlation of random wavefields: An interdisciplinary review. [1]


Biography 2006 [2]

Eric Larose received a B.S. (1999) in basic physics at École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France, an M.S. (2001) in statistical physics from the Université Claude Bernard in Lyon, France, and a Ph.D. (2005) in geophysics from Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. He then worked for Pechiney Research and Development Department (now Alcan). Larose also worked in the Laboratory of Geophysics and Tectono- physics, National Council for Scientific Research, Grenoble, and in the Laboratory of Waves and Acoustics in Paris. He is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the University of Illinois.
