Biography 2006 [2]

Bart van Tiggelen received a master’s degree (1988) in astrophysics at Leiden Observatory, the Netherlands, and a Ph.D. (1992) in theoretical physics at the University of Amsterdam. Since 1996, he has worked with the National Council for Scientific Research. Van Tiggelen’s research interests are in wave propagation in random media, specifically optics and acoustics of disordered media, magneto-optics and Anderson localization, mesoscopic physics, and seismic wave propagation.
