Honorable Mention (Geophysics) 2007
Børge Arntsen, Lars Wensaas, Helge Loseth, and Christian Hermanrud received 2007 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper Seismic modeling of gas chimneys.[1]
Biography 2007[2]
Lars Wensaas received an M.Sc. degree (1987) in sedimen- tology from the University of Oslo, Norway. He joined Statoil in 1994, where he is now a staff geologist at Statoil Research Centre in Trondheim. His research efforts have focused on rock physics, pore-fluid pressure, and sealing properties of argillaceous rocks in petroleum exploration.
