UFC SEG Geophysical Society
About Us
The UFC Geophysical Society is a student chapter affiliated with the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), founded in April 2024 by geology students at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). The chapter is dedicated to fostering the development of geophysics within and outside the university, promoting both academic and professional growth.
Each year, the chapter hosts key SEG activities, such as Distinguished and Honorary Lectures, outreach activities, workshops, short courses in geoscientific softwares, providing students with opportunities to enhance their technical skills and industry knowledge.
