Overview

This is a land 3D project from South Texas. The prestack gathers are only about 6 Gbytes, making it an excellent dataset for training and demonstrations.

Data includes:

Unprocessed shot records with geometry loaded in trace headers A time window of processed prestack gathers with moveout applied A final image vsp data well logs inversion results

Terms of use

In 2014 Bob Hardage (principle investigator for this project) and Scott Tinker ( director of the Bureau of Economic Geology, and the State Geologist of Texas) authorize the distribution of the Stratton data provided:

"Anyone who utilizes the Stratton seismic data in research, publishing or otherwise should acknowledge that the data were collected and made available for worldwide education and training by the Bureau of Economic Geology at the University of Texas at Austin. "
