James K. O'Connell, Madhu Kohli, and Scott Amos received the 1993 SEG Best Paper in Geophysics Award for their paper Bullwinkle: A unique 3D experiment.[1]

Biography 1993[2]

Scott Amos received a B.Sc. in geology from Wichita State University in 1979 and an M.Sc. in 1981 from the University of South Carolina. He joined Shell Western E & P in Houston in 1981 where he worked various exploration assignments in the Rocky Mountains. Exploration and production assignments in Cameroon, West Africa in 1984 for Pecten International set the state for his current work efforts which are focused on improving production performance of deep water fields in the G.O.M. with Shell Offshore in New Orleans.
