Honorable Mention (Geophysics) 2009

Rita Streich received 2009 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for her paper 3D finite-difference frequency-domain modeling of controlled-source electromagnetic data: Direct solution and optimizations for high accuracy.[1]

Biography 2009[2]

Rita Streich received an M.S. (2003) in geophysics from the University of Potsdam, Germany. She is working toward a Ph.D. at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. Her research focuses on ground-penetrating radar imaging, including multicomponent and multioffset techniques for near-surface characterization. She is a member of SEG and EAGE.

Honorable Mention (Geophysics) 2006

Jan van der Kruk, Rita Streich, and Alan Green received 2006 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper Properties of surface waveguides derived from separate and joint inversion of dispersive TE and TM GPR data.[3]
