Biography 1988 [1]

Paul M. Tucker is a petroleum consultant in Houston. After receiving a B.S. in geology and physics at Michigan State University, he joined Carter Oil Co. and remained with Exxon and affiliates for 38 years as a seismic interpreter, chief interpreter, chief geologist, exploration manager for Esso in South America; chief interpreter, Exxon; research associate--seismic interpretation, Exxon Research. He co-authored SEG's monograph 2, Pitfalls in Seismic Interpretation, and is the author of Pitfalls Revisited. He is a 50 year member of SEG.


Honorable Mention (Geophysics) 1988

Paul Tucker received 1988 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for his paper Seismic contouring: A unique skill.[2]
