Michael S. McMillan is a PhD candidate in geophysics at the University of British Columbia, specializing in large-scale electromagnetic inversion. His current topic of interest is parametric inversion for airborne time-domain electromagnetic data. Apart from geophysics, he is an avid runner, skier and biker, and competed at the 2014 Kona Ironman world championships for triathlon.
Best Paper in Geophysics Award 2014
M. McMillan and D. Oldenburg received 2014 Best Paper in Geophysics Award for their paper Cooperative constrained inversion of multiple electromagnetic data sets.[1]
