R. L. Reynolds, N. S. Fishman, and M. R. Hudson received the 1991 SEG Best Paper in Geophysics Award for their paper Sources of aeromagnetic anomalies over Cement oil field (Oklahoma), Simpson oil field (Alaska), and the Wyoming Idaho-Utah thrust belt.[1]


Biography 1991[2]

Mark R. Hudson received a B.S. (1980) from Arkansas Tech University and an MS (1983) and a Ph.D. (1988) from Colorado School of Mines. As a geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, he has conducted studies in paleomagnetism, rock magnetism, structural geology, and field mapping. His current research focuses on the integration of paleomagnetic and structural geology studies to investigate tectonic processes in the Basin and Range province. He is a member of AGU, GSA, and CSC.\
