2025 SEG Presidential Award
Katie Petrowski joined SEG in 2022 and was promoted to Controller in May 2024, a role she currently holds. In a relatively short time, she has made a remarkable impact by streamlining SEG’s financial reporting systems. Under her leadership, financial reports, reviews, and dashboards have become significantly more clear, concise, and accurate. These improvements have enhanced transparency and provided the Board with the confidence to focus on strategic priorities, rather than spending time deciphering complex financial data. Importantly, Petrowski’s contributions extend beyond SEG’s core finances to include the SEG Foundation, SEAM, and SEG Global, Inc., ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization. Her efforts have not only improved operational efficiency but have also reduced internal redundancies, what some have referred to as the inefficiencies of “doing business with ourselves.” SEG is proud to recognize Petrowski’s outstanding contributions and the lasting value she has brought to the organization.
