Honorable Mention (Geophysics) 2010
William Dragoset, Eric Verschuur, Ian Moore, Richard Bisley received a 2010 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper A perspective on 3D surface-related multiple elimination.
Ian Moore joined Western Geophysical as a research geophysicist in 1996, having completed a degree at Cambridge and a Ph.D. at Leeds University in mathematics. Initially based in London, he later moved to Australia and recently completed a two-year secondment to Schlumberger Cambridge Research Center. His research interests span all aspects of seismic data processing, especially multiple and noise attenuation, signal processing, and interpolation.
