Complex Analysis

Complex analysis is that branch of mathematics which deals with quantities containing a term scaled by ${\sqrt {-1}}$. Extending the real numbers to the so-called complex numbers allows for the extension of the concepts of the limits of sequences and series and the principles of differential and integral calculus to complex valued functions. The payoff are a collection of methods that are useful in the fields of physics and signal processing.
