Glenn S. Sasagawa, Wayne C. Crawford, Ola Eiken, Scott Nooner, Torkjell Stenvold, and Mark A. Zumberge received the 2003 SEG Best Paper in Geophysics Award for their paper A new sea-floor gravimiter. [1]

Biography 2003 [2]

Wayne Crawford received a BS (1988) in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD (1994) in oceanography from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Currently, he is a charge de reserche for the Centre Nationale de Recherche Scientifique at Intitut de Geophysique du Globe de Paris. His research interests include using marien geophysical techniques such as broadband seafloor seismology and compliance to study how the oceanic crust forms.
