Dictionary:Specific capacity
A well's specific capacity equals the discharge rate (in gpm) divided by the water level drawdown (in feet). It is the quantity that a well can produce per unit of drawdown. It is normally obtained from a step drawdown test
A polarization parameter in the time domain similar to the metal factor in the frequency domain; long-time chargeability (area under decay curve) divided by resistivity. Also called static capacity. Dimensions are farad per meter.
