Biography 1995 [2]

Richard S. Smith received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Adelaide, South Australia. Further graduate studies were pursued at the University of Toronto. A presentation of his PhD results at the 1988 ASEG/SEG International Conference in Australia received the best paper award (co-authored with G.F. West).
