Biography 2000[1]

Jacques P. Leveille received a PhD (1976) in physics from Boston University. He spent six years in high energy particle physics research before joining Shell Development Company in 1982. In 1994 he joined Amerada Hess Corporation where his is presently manager of the geoscience technology group. His interests are in elastic wave propagation, seismic imaging, rock physics, seismic processing, and signal processing. He is a member of SEG, EAGE, and APS.


Honorable Mention (Geophysics) 2000

Yonghe Sun, Fuhao Qin, Steve Checkles, and Jacques P. Leveille received 2000 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper 3-D prestack Kirchhoff beam migration for depth imaging.[2]
