and Mark A. Zumberge received the 2003 SEG Best Paper in Geophysics Award for their paper A new sea-floor gravimiter. [1]

Glenn Sasagawa received a BS (1983) in physics from Harvey Mudd College and a PhD (1999) in earth sciences from the University of California, San Diego. Currently he is an associate project scientist at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. His research interests include absolute and relative measurements of gravity and geodetic methods for estimating lithospheric viscosity.
