Fons Ten Kroode
Biography 2002[1]
Fons ten Kroode obtained a PhD (1988) in pure mathematics from the University of Amsterdam. After spending two years as an assistant professor in Amsterdam and at the University of Illinois at Urbana Campaign, he joined Shell Research in 1991 as a mathematical geophysicist. He has worked on a variety of projects including crosswell seismics, multi-valued migration, automatic velocity analysis, and interbed multiples.
Honorable Mention (Geophysics) 2002
Jose Carcione, Gerard Herman and Fons Ten Kroode received 2002 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper Seismic modeling.[2]
