{{#category_index:M|modeling theory}} Significant physical properties must have certain ratios of dimensions for physical models to be realistic representations. Three ratios may be selected independently: geometric similarity, a ratio of lengths; dynamic similarity, a ratio of masses; kinematic similarity, a ratio of times. Values of these fix other model ratios. See Sheriff and Geldart (1995; 390-2).
