{{#category_index:H|hold-down weight}} The static weight that prevents a vibrator pad from decoupling at peak acceleration in the upward direction. This weight is achieved by jacking up the carrier vehicle so that part of its weight is supported by the baseplate reaction-mass assembly. See reaction mass.
