The feature of an electrical circuit in which the circuit is connected to the common conductor (ground) at two or more points, thus forming closed- loop circuits of which the common conductor is a part. Current flow in these loops may result in the ‘‘ground’’ being at different potential levels at different points, an undesirable feature.
