{{#category_index:F|Flair}} A marine seismic method employing a streamer dipping at a small angle (about 1°), often from about 10 to 50 m. Since ghosting depends on receiver depth, the notch frequencies associated with receiver ghosting (and the ghosts) are effectively eliminated after CMP stacking. Also known as the slant cable method. Tradename of Deatex Services.
