An orthogonal linear space where the distance between $(x_{1},x_{2},\ldots ,x_{n})$ and $(y_{1},y_{2},\ldots ,y_{n})$ is given by

$\left[\sum _{i=1}^{n}\left(x_{i}-y_{i}\right)^{2}\right]^{\frac {1}{2}}$.

The dimension of the space is n. Named for Euclid of Alexandria, the "father" of geometry.
