{{#category_index:D|dual induction log}}
An induction log (q.v.) consisting of two induction curves with different depths of investigation. Usually run with a resistivity device that has a shallow depth of investigation, such as a shallow Laterolog or spherically focused log. Dual induction tools operate around 20 kHz and measure phase and amplitude. Also known as Dual-Phase Induction Log (Baker Atlas tradename). Now superceded by the array induction log (q.v.).
