(k∂n junk’ sh∂n) 1. The condition for which an AND-gate is used; intersection. Each of two (or more) situations must occur. Often written A∩B or A·B (read as ‘‘A and B’’). See Figure B-5. 2. Alignment of celestial objects at the same azimuth and elevation.
