{{#category_index:C|compressibility}} Change of density with pressure; the reciprocal of bulk modulus. The total compressibility is the sum of the compressibilities of the various parts. The compressibility of water is 3×10–6/psi, of oil 3 to 10×10–6/psi, of pore spaces 3 to 100×10–6/psi. See elastic constants.
