Appreciation
I would like to thank the following people for biographical information supplied over the years.
- In 2008 and 2009 under the direction of Susan Henley, Director SEG's now defunct Geoscience Center, Mariaisabel Johnston Romandini and Nicole Paizis spent many hours scanning biographies from Geophysics and from SEG Awards Citation documents for the addition to an updated "Virtual Museum of Geophysics".
- A lot of material was collected by John Knapp of Missouri Southern State University for SEG's original prototype SEG Virtual Museum, which we are using for an inspiration for a new virtual museum.
- I would like to thank Matt Hall for breaking ground on the expansion of the SEG Wiki.
- Furthermore I would like to thank Tonia Gist of the SEG staff for supplying SEG Awards Citation materials.
On behalf of Digital Publications and the entire SEG staff, I'd like to thank John W. Stockwell Jr. for his dedication to the SEG Wiki and commitment to knowledge sharing. At the time of this writing, John has contributed over 550 edits in the last 30 days, and well over thousands in the last handful of months. Thank you, John. You are an SEG Wiki champion!
