Bruce Gibson received a B.A. (1973) in physics from Pomona College, an M.S. (1975) in geophysics from the University of Hawaii, and a Ph.D. (1989) in geophysics from Rice University. From 1976 to 1984 he worked in the research group at Western Geophysical in Houston. In 1984 he joined the Dept. of Geology/Geophysics at Rice University as a research scientist, where he was involved in various seismic reflection projects until early 1989. He is currently an agricultural specialist with the Red-Wing Partnership in Cambria, CA. He is a member of SEG, EAEG, AGU, and SSA.
