Burkhard Wurmstich received his diploma in geophysics from the Unversity of Karlsruhe in 1989. He joined the PhD program at Texas A&M University in 1990 with completion expected in 1994. His research interests are streaming potentials, rock physics, environmental geophysics, and numerical methods. He is a member of SEG and AGU.[1]
Honorable Mention (Geophysics)
B. Wurmstich and F. Morgan received Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper Modeling of streaming potential responses caused by oil well pumping.[2]
