Tenice Nangoo works at S-Cube, an Imperial College Spinout company building on the pioneering research. S-Cube is known for its differentiated capability through optimisation methods for next-generation FWI technology (XWITM). As Operations Lead at S-Cube since 2019, Tenice is shaping the company's best practices for taking new algorithms from testing into commercial deployment. She is responsible for:

  • creating next-generation FWI technology (XWITM) to eliminate human bias and provide a step-change in seismic imaging quality.
  • delivering on the potential of XWITM to unlock untapped value for operators accessing under-explored hydrocarbon plays in deep-water sub-salt settings where conventional seismic imaging is severely limited, and tens of billions of dollars have been lost drilling dry holes.
