Biography 2003
Sverre Brandsberg-Dahl received a MS (1998) in geophysics from the Norwegian University of Science. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in geophysics at the Center for Wave Phenomena, Colorado School of Mines.He has been an intern with BP, both in Norway and in the U.S.A. Upon graduation from CSM, he will be employed by BP Upstream Technology Group, Houston. His research interests are inversion and parameter estimation in anisotrophy.

Sverre Brandsberg-Dahl, Maarten V. de Hoop and Bjørn Ursin received 2003 Honorable Mention (Geophysics) for their paper Focusing in dip and AVA compensation on scattering-angle/azimuth common image gathers.[1]
