R. M. Clowes received a B.Sc. degree, honors, in physics from the University
of Alberta in 1964. During the years 1960-64, he was the holder of
undergraduate scholarships awarded by the Steel Company of Canada Limited
and Cominco Limited. In 1966 he received a M.Sc. degree in geophysics from
the same institution. As the recipient of an International Nickel Graduate
Research Fellowship for the terms 1966-67 and 1967-68, he is at present working
toward a Ph.D. degree in geophysics from the University of Alberta. Mr. Clowes
is a student member of the SEG and AGU.

Ronald Clowes received B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Alberta. During the years 1960-64, he was the holder of undergraduate scholarships awarded by the Steel Company of Canada Limited and Cominco Limited. He was the recipient of an International Nickel Graduate Research Fellowship for the terms 1966-67 and 1967-68. Mr. Clowes was a student member of the SEG and AGU.
