Manika Prasad received a B.S. from the University of Bombay and an M.S. and a Ph.D from the University of Kiel. She has worked at the University of Hawaii, Stanford University, and IIT Bombay. Currently she is an associate professor in the Petroleum Engineering Department at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) and a Petrosadist at the Center for Rock Abuse at CSM. Her research interests are multidisciplinary research on rock, sediment and fluid properties, quantitative nano- and microscale characterizations, flow zone mapping, and nondestructive materials characterization. She is a member of SEG, AGU, and SPE. [1]
