Karuthethil K. Sekharan received an M.S. degree in physics from Bombay University and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Kentucky. He has worked for the Bhabha Atomic Research Center, the University of Kentucky, Texas A&M University, and Selma University. Since 1980, he has been with the University of Houston, where he is a senior research scientist at Allied Geophysical Laboratories. He is involved in physical modeling of geological structures and is interested in processing and interpretation of seismic data. He is a member of SEG.
