Application of statistical deconvolution to pre- and poststack data is discussed. Additionally, application of deterministic deconvolution to marine data to convert the recorded source signature to its minimum-phase equivalent, and to land data recorded using a vibroseis source to convert the autocorrelogram of the sweep signal to its minimum-phase equivalent are addressed in the pages below.
