FIG. T-3. 3D control plots show the distribution of multiplicity, offsets, azimuths, etc. in various bins; they permit visualizing the uniformity that has been achieved. The black squares and green circles show source and geophone locations. The distribution of offsets (a) and azimuths (b) is not completely uniform even in a land survey where the acquisition is regular.
