Dictionary:Apparent-resistivity curve

A graph of apparent resistivity against electrode separation, frequency, or time. Apparent-resistivity curves are often plotted on logarithmic paper and compared with type curves (normalized theoretical curves) for interpreting the resistivity, thickness, and depth of subsurface layers.
