Belinda Butler-Veytia currently is Partner, Western Division O&G Sector Lead

ERM: Environmental Resources Management.

Providing a broad range of environmental services to private sector clients across the ERM organization with specific focus the O&G industry leadership across the Western US including Alaska.

Current role specifically includes providing environmental services to existing and new O&G clients for upstream, midstream/pipeline, and downstream clients. High interest areas in the upstream O&G arena include stakeholder engagement and issues screening workshops; identifying and creating process focused on non-technical risks associated with E&P activities; ongoing changes in air quality regulation; supporting internal organizational development using sustainable information solutions; and buildling and maintaining effective and efficient compliance programs for growing companies. Leading and/or supporting project leaders in connecting subject matter experts located across multiple geographies and issue areas with client teams to leverage company experiences. Project leadership in the Niobrara and Bakken areas include compliance program management, due diligence, remediation and asset retirement, and issues screening, stakeholder engagement, and non-technical risk program development.

From a technical perspective, providing senior technical leadership and support to multiple private sector clients on environmental clean up applications, specifically utilizing innovative techniques for the treatment of contaminated soil and groundwater.

Hubbard, John Peterson, Belinda Butler-Veytia, and Bob Kelley received 2011 Best Paper Presented at the Annual Meeting for their paper Multi-level continuous active source seismic monitoring (ML-CASSM): Mapping shallow hydrofracture evolution at a TCE contaminated site.
